These companies have been supported by the Moscow Government since 2012.

The Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development will receive additional funds for the implementation of the program to support taxi transportation and car sharing services. The corresponding decree was signed by Sergei Sobyanin.

The Moscow Government has supported such companies since 2012. They receive subsidies to reimburse part of the cost of paying interest on loans and lease payments under financial lease (leasing) agreements. This year, applications were accepted from June 15 to 26. The money will be paid in December.

In 2012–2019, subsidies were received by 291 taxi companies. The total amount of payments amounted to 0.9 billion rubles. Over 36.5 thousand cars were purchased with this money. This year, 117 taxi companies (of which 108 are legal entities and nine individual entrepreneurs) have applied for subsidies for the purchase of 11,123 taxi cars. The total amount of subsidies is 288 million rubles. Thanks to the taxi companies support program, 70 percent of the taxi cars in the city were purchased with direct financial assistance from the Moscow Government.

Since 2018, three car-sharing companies have received subsidies. The total amount is 52.7 million rubles. With this money, they bought 3.7 thousand cars. In 2020, three car-sharing operators applied to receive a total of 200 million rubles for the purchase of 8.5 thousand cars.

Moscow will continue to help taxi companies and car-sharing operators next year, which is important for the development of these popular urban services.
