As part of the VAR program, a special tactical exercise will be conducted with the units, during which they will improve their skills in firing small arms at ground targets from the air, both in flight and while in the transport compartment of the helicopter. Then the Marines will practice the landing of a tactical airborne assault from a low-flying helicopter from a height of 2-3 meters using an “assault” helicopter in full combat gear.

After disembarking, divided into groups, the servicemen will make a march to the area where the conditional enemy is located. On the ground, the Marines will work out methods of covert penetration into a guarded object with the task of extracting intelligence information about the places of concentration of a conditional enemy for the subsequent application of air and missile-artillery strikes against the detected objects.

During the training in the airborne division, the servicemen of the marine corps of the Caspian Flotilla will perform more than 500 jumps with D-10 and Arbalet-2 parachutes.
