The pyrotechnics of the joint detachment of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Nagorno-Karabakh continue to survey the territories near Stepanakert. Since the beginning of the work, they have cleared more than 24 hectares and found about 950 explosive objects.

The bulk of the work by the specialists of the Leader Center was carried out in the village of Aygestan. Only there were found more than 300 artillery shells of various calibers, almost 50 fragments from MLRS “Grad”, as well as several mortar mines and anti-tank missiles “Malyutka”.

All discovered items are transferred to the Center for Humanitarian Demining of Nagorno-Karabakh for subsequent disposal.

It is worth noting that a group of fireworkers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry is accompanied on the road by a departmental physician who is ready, if necessary, to provide assistance, including to local residents.

In addition, representatives of the State Emergency Service of Nagorno Karabakh paid a friendly visit to the camp of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. During the visit, the parties discussed the planned supplies of humanitarian cargo to Nagorno-Karabakh, including for the use of the State Emergencies Service of the region. Russian rescuers familiarized their colleagues with the equipment used: a special vehicle and equipment for carrying out pyrotechnic works, as well as a mobile communication center.
