This measure is in addition to the decision taken by the Council of State and communicated on December 8, 2020 to raise the reduction in the turnover tax for public establishments to 5,000 francs. This measure consists of a financial loss calculated for each establishment to the tune of 1.5% of the 2018-2019 average turnover subject to the law on public establishments (LEP), increased by an amount of 1 ‘ 500 francs per establishment. The aid ceiling is set at 25,000 francs. This will concern all public establishments whose 2018-2019 turnover is equal to or greater than 70,000 francs per year. The companies concerned will be identified and directly informed by a letter which will reach them at the beginning of next week, so that they can directly start the procedures related to the request and obtain a payment again this year. Applications can be submitted until January 31, 2021. The Council of State also wishes to salute the quality partnership it maintains with GastroNeuchâtel and the regional section of Swiss Hotels, entities it consulted before implementing this measure. The consumer and veterinary affairs department and the economy department can count on the invaluable support of GastroNeuchâtel, since the association will be directly involved in the processing of requests.
