Servicemen of the combined arms army of the Western Military District took the oath of a junior soldier from more than 25 schoolchildren of the Voronezh region.

The ceremony began with the formation, listening to the anthem of the Russian Federation, a minute of silence, as well as with introductory words by the head of the regional headquarters of the Yunarmiya in the Voronezh region, Alexander Kartavtsev, who spoke about the significance of this oath, which includes the obligation to conscientiously and proudly bear the high rank of the youth , honor the memory of heroes and the history of the Motherland, always be the defender of the weak, as well as the willingness to be loyal to their Fatherland.

The solemn event took place on the territory of MBOU Secondary School No. 68, graduates of which are Alexander Dubinin, who was posthumously awarded the Order of the Red Star, and Vadim Zimny, an engineer of the communications combat unit on the Komsomolets nuclear submarine, who received the Order of the Red Banner posthumously. The pupils of the Yunarmiya detachments were presented with distinctive signs and certificates of registration in the movement.

In total, over 100 people took part in the ceremony, including parents and friends of schoolchildren, representatives of veteran organizations, regional and city administration bodies, the command of the combined-arms army of the Western Military District and members of the patriotic movement Yunarmiya who have already taken an oath of allegiance. An identical event was held in strict observance of preventive standards.
