The servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent carried out a humanitarian action in the secondary school No. 1 in the town of Mardakert in Nagorno-Karabakh, handing over school backpacks, stationery and school supplies to the students.

In addition, the servicemen of the Russian peacekeeping contingent conducted a Peacemaker Lesson, during which they brought up the specifics of peacekeeping activities and basic security requirements.

They also demonstrated samples of equipment for servicemen performing service at observation posts, as well as modern protective suits of a sapper, IMP-S2 mine detectors and INVU-3M seekers.

In accordance with the agreements indicated in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10 this year. a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh have been declared.


The capacity of the school is 900 people, at present there are 310 students, 38 teachers, the number of shifts is two.
