In the capital, 6425 new cases of COVID-19 were detected per day. 1,463 people were hospitalized in hospitals. This was reported in the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow.

41.3 percent of new cases are people aged 18 to 45 years, 30.8 percent – from 46 to 65 years old, 10.1 percent – from 66 to 79 years old, 4.5 percent – over 80 years old. Another 13.3 percent are children. All patients and those who came into contact with them are under medical supervision. 447 patients are connected to mechanical ventilation devices in hospitals.

In the capital, additional measures continue to be taken to combat the spread of the coronavirus. Citizens over 65 years old, as well as people with chronic diseases, must follow a home regime. Employers are required to transfer at least 30 percent of employees to remote work, and students in grades 6-11, universities and colleges study remotely.

In public places, you must maintain social distance, wear a mask and gloves. The holding of cultural, exhibition, educational, leisure, entertainment and entertainment events with the participation of spectators has been temporarily suspended.
