The Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve invites you on December 1 at 12:00 for a virtual tour of the “Bird Concert” exhibition. It will be conducted by a curator – art critic, associate professor of the Department of the History of Russian Art, Faculty of History, Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov Sergei Khachaturov. He will talk about the tradition of using images of birds in world art – for example, which birds, in the imagination of the artists, personified wisdom, cunning and treachery. On the website of the State Museum of Fine Arts named after A.S. Pushkin will be published on December 1 at 16:00 a lecture on the life of the poet’s sister Olga… Alexander Sergeevich had a warm friendship with her, Olga was the addressee of many of his poems and letters. The lecture will focus on the family of Olga Sergeevna, her children and her husband, who, perhaps, became the prototype of Prince Myshkin in Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel The Idiot.
And for history lovers, the Museum of Archeology of Moscow has prepared a free online lecture “Voskresensky bridge in the 17th-19th centuries”… For a long time, this crossing connected the two banks of the Neglinnaya River in the area of the Resurrection (Iversky) Gate, now this place is the Manezhnaya Square. At the lecture, the museum employee Maxim Moiseev will explain how this bridge was built and rebuilt, and will tell about its structures. The lecturer will also pay special attention to the archaeological excavations carried out on Manezhnaya Square in the 1990s, because it was they who helped to discover the surviving fragments of the old bridge. Moscow State Museum S.A. Yesenin invites you to an online tour of the ancient streets associated with famous poets. It will become available on YouTube channel Museum on December 3 at 19:00. Sightseers in the company of a guide “walk”, for example, along Bryusov Lane, which is closely connected with the life and work of Marina Tsvetaeva, Sergei Yesenin and other poets of the Silver Age.
December 5 Memorial Museum named after A.N. Scriabin organizes a musical evening. The audience will hear arias from the best foreign operas, as well as romances by Georgy Sviridov to verses by Robert Burns. To the accompaniment of the piano, they will be performed by a graduate of the Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky, laureate of international competitions Nikolay Pronin. The broadcast will take place on YouTube channel Museum, beginning at 19:00.
Another concert of classical music “Tchaikovsky’s Fairy Worlds” will take place on December 6 at 14:00 at YouTube channel School of watercolors by Sergei Andriyaka. Suites from the ballets “Swan Lake”, “The Sleeping Beauty” and “The Nutcracker” will be performed; they will be performed on the piano in four hands by a graduate of the Moscow PI Tchaikovsky Olga Katalikova and Marina Yurakova.
