In the Moscow region, on the basis of the Kantemirovskaya division of the Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District, a lesson was held in winter conditions with mechanics-drivers of historical armored vehicles of the Great Patriotic War on controlling equipment on rough terrain and maneuvering when moving in a column.
A training event was held to consolidate the skills of the personnel of this unique unit in driving historical models of armored vehicles in various terrain. It involved the legendary T-34 tanks.
In the future, the driver-mechanics of the historical armored vehicles unit will take part in the historical reconstruction for the Battle of Moscow. Previously, armored vehicles were switched to winter operation.
T-34 tanks have already taken part in military parades and in historical reenactments of battles during the Great Patriotic War, and also demonstrated their capabilities at the Army-2020 forum and the International Army Games-2020.
