Volunteers and anyone with an interest in volunteering can take part in online activities and receive gifts.

On November 26, the #WeAbout Marathon will begin, which will end with the celebration of Volunteer Day on December 5th. Moscow volunteers will come up with a logo for the city volunteer movement, take part in an online quest, and will also be able to share their achievements.

We have prepared interesting activities for all volunteers of the capital especially for this event. Volunteers and all comers will be able to offer their idea of ​​a symbol for volunteering in Moscow, as well as take part in an online quest “, – said

During the marathon, volunteers will be able to try their hand at design and come up with a symbol of the volunteer movement in Moscow, which will reflect all its directions. To do this, you must send a picture in JPEG format to your email by December 1 media… Detailed requirements for work can be found on the center’s website “Mosvolonter”… Experts will select the best projects, and the winner will be determined by members of the Mosvolonter community on the social network “In contact with”… The results of the competition will be announced on December 4, and on Volunteer Day this symbol will appear on the official information resources of Mosvolonter and on the avatars of the #Moscow Volunteers team.

In addition, on December 5, everyone will be able to take part in the Do Do BRO online quest. During the game, you will need to answer questions regarding different spheres of life in the virtual city of Dobrograd – culture, urbanism and improvement. Teams of two to five people can participate in the online quest, as well as individual participants, who will later be randomly united into teams. The game will take place in specially created telegram chats, the organizers will add captains to the teams, and those – participants.

The winner of the online competition will be the team that completes all tasks the fastest. Need check in…

November 28 at “Telegram” a sticker pack will appear with a set of characteristic phrases of volunteers made in the recognizable colors of Mosvolonter. Among them are “Five volunteers”, “Remote hugs”, “Brief in five minutes” and other catchphrases of city assistants.

And on Instagram from December 1, a set of animated GIFs dedicated to the good deeds of Moscow volunteers in 2020 will be available. They can be used in stories. To do this, in the GIPHY search engine, you will need to enter #Mosvolunteer or #Moscow Volunteers, and then select the gif you like. There will also be themed interactive masks that volunteers can use when chatting with friends or to create stories.

In addition, in order to sum up the results of personal credit for useful deeds this year, as well as share achievements with friends, volunteers will be able to fill out a special “My Good Year” checklist. On November 27 it will be published on the pages of Mosvolonter in the Vkontakte social networks, Facebook and “Instagram”… Each volunteer will be able to post it on social networks, note what he managed to do, and also send the challenge to a friend. In the comments to the checklist, volunteers will be able to write their versions of good deeds, (“I helped grandparents within the framework of the #WeTogether campaign”, “I applied for participation in the Moscow Volunteer – 2020 competition”, “I implemented my social project”, “ Passed a series of webinars from #Mosvolonter “and so on). The events mentioned in the list will motivate those who have just embarked on the path of volunteering.

The Mosvolonter Resource Center, established on February 21, 2014, is the largest support center for the volunteer movement in Russia. To date, more than 97.5 thousand volunteers are registered in its database. All in all, more than 520 thousand Muscovites are involved in volunteering in Moscow.

Every year Mosvolonter takes part in about 170 city events, organizes volunteer actions, and supports events of socially oriented non-profit and volunteer organizations.
