The destruction of a conditional illegal armed formation (IAF) of about 1,200 militants at the Harb-Maidon training ground ended the main stage of the joint exercise of servicemen of the 201st Russian military base and units of the armed forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the plan of the episode of the exercise, an illegal armed group of about 1200 people broke through the border. To suppress the pace of the offensive, engineering units blew up guided high-explosive shells at different times, creating two “fire ramparts” each 500 meters long, artillery batteries opened fire from Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and the EW maneuver group using the Borisoglebsk complex -2 “conducted an autopsy of the enemy’s radio electronic means and unmanned aerial vehicles.
At this time, a group of electronic warfare with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles “Leer-3” sent demoralizing SMS messages to the “militants”, and the received coordinates were sent to a flamethrower platoon for the subsequent destruction of the attackers.
To create conditions for a counterattack, the forces of illegal armed groups were dragged into a fire bag. At the conditional enemy, fire was fired from MLRS “Grad”, “Uragan”, self-propelled artillery mounts 2S3 “Akatsiya”. For timely and guaranteed destruction, the howitzer battery used the 3OF39 Krasnopol high-precision ammunition.
After the “enemy” was destroyed, Russian and Tajik units launched a counterattack. For the final defeat, Russian Mi-24 helicopters used the “helicopter carousel” method and destroyed enemy personnel and armored vehicles with the help of S-8 unguided aircraft missiles.
