Over the past day, another 5,245 patients have been cured of COVID-19 in the capital. This was announced by the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with coronavirus in Moscow. Thus, the number of recovered people increased to 405,577 people.

After treatment, doctors conduct special studies to make sure that the patient has recovered. Those who need to remain supervised receive appropriate guidance.

Recovered Muscovites can become blood plasma donors. The main conditions: age from 18 to 55 years, the presence of a certificate of the absence of HIV, hepatitis B and C, as well as chronic diseases.

Citizens who have recovered from COVID-19 can also become social volunteers and help those who are being treated at home.

Those who have had a coronavirus infection and want to donate plasma or become a social volunteer should call the hotline at +7 (495) 870-45-16. It is open daily from 09:00 to 19:00.

The city has earned more three points receiving donors with antibodies to coronavirus infection. They were opened on the basis of the second department of the O.K. Gavrilov and blood transfusion units at the A.K. Eramishantsev and Hospital No. 67 named after L.A. Vorokhobova. In October, the clinical committee approved a uniform standard in the approach to treating patients with COVID-19 in hospitals. Now patients with moderate and severe forms of the disease can be prescribed a transfusion of donor plasma. This is decided by the attending physician.
