For a month, students from Moscow schools, under the guidance of mentors, performed basic sports elements online: push-ups, squats and twists – and received points for this.

An online team physical training tournament has ended in the capital. Competitions were organized Moscow center “Patriot.Sport”… More than 600 schoolchildren took part in them.

The tournament was held from October 19 to November 15. Pupils of the fourth – ninth grades of Moscow schools competed in teams of five.

The winners of the online competition were the teams from schools No. 1358, 2006, 1371. In the overall standings, they scored the maximum number of points. Schools No. 1220 and 1381 were one step away from the prizes.

“Our school № 2006 announced six teams of pupils of the fourth – ninth grades. The guys competed in push-ups, squats and twists. The tasks were not easy, but we fought for every point. As a result, the team took second place in Moscow, ”said Natalya Korneva, physical education teacher at school No. 2006.

The winners of the online team physical training tournament will receive diplomas and gifts.

The Moscow Center “Patriot.Sport” regularly conducts online programs aimed at the physical training of children and adolescents. For example, the project is underway now “Receive / Transmit”… As part of the video challenge, small videos with basic elements of different sports, performed by schoolchildren at home, are published daily on the center’s social media pages. Anyone can repeat the exercises or suggest their own options.
