The Russian military will install a pumping station in the Kadykovsky quarry in the Crimea, it will lift up to a height of 105 meters up to 15 thousand cubic meters of water daily.

The floating pumping station will be installed on the water surface at the deepest point of the Kadykovsky quarry; it will be able to lift 15 thousand cubic meters of water to a design height of 105 meters per day.

The pumping station will become the most important link in this water pipeline from the Kadykovsky quarry to the Chernaya river, 10 kilometers long. Further, the water will go to the city water intake points.

From a height of 105 meters, water will flow into the Chernaya River by gravity through a pipe. Employees of the local water utility will be responsible for servicing the new water pipeline. Beforehand, they will undergo comprehensive training. An administrative building is being built for the staff. The security of all links of the hydrological facility will be ensured by video surveillance and recognition systems.

Military builders are participating in a project to provide water to Sevastopol on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he gave at the request of the head of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev.
