Non-profit organizations in the capital invite children and adolescents to participate in creative and educational activities without leaving their homes.
World Children’s Day is celebrated on November 20. In the capital, more than 1,500 socially oriented non-profit organizations work with children. They are engaged in patriotic education, conduct creative and sports activities, help children with disabilities and those who find themselves in difficult life situations. Now schoolchildren can take part in a drawing competition online, discover a new star or learn to cook.
Create a school community
Pupils who want to participate in the life of the school can join the competition-game “School of the Rybakov-Fund”. All that is needed is registerand complete tasks of the chat bot. To participate, you will need a team of at least four people from different groups: student, teacher, graduate and administration representative. The team may also include an entrepreneur and a parent. You can also participate individually.
By completing assignments, students will gather a team of like-minded people to create a community in their school that will help create a comfortable environment for the development of employees and students. Participants in the game will be able to win the Grand Prix in the amount of one million rubles for the development of their own ideas, receive grants of 50 thousand rubles each and other useful prizes.
“We have radically changed the competition, which we have been running for five years, and we are proposing a completely new concept. First, we have abandoned traditional applications and developed a gamification system. Participants will complete real-time practical exercises that will help form a community. Secondly, the competition is open to literally everyone: for teachers and schoolchildren, for graduates, entrepreneurs, parents, NGO employees, and local residents. Our challenges will become the common cause that will unite them around the school and give them the opportunity to positively influence both the development of the school and the future of the whole society, ”said Ekaterina Rybakova, co-founder and president of the foundation.
The competition will run until December 25. Every month new challenges await the participants with their own tasks: “Gathering a team”, “Forming a school community”, “Raising money for development”. You can join the competition at any stage – each of them includes prizes and participant certificates.
Draw the Victory tree
Schoolchildren from seven to 17 years old can take part in the all-Russian competition “Draw a Victory tree”. Until November 25, children can send their drawings dedicated to how children and adults prepared for the 1945 meeting: how they decorated the Christmas tree, made Christmas tree decorations, and drew postcards to the front.
Images should convey the atmosphere of that time: you can come up with your own story or recreate stories of great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers, as well as photographs from family archives, on a piece of paper. You can learn more about the competition on the site Museum of Victory.
“The upbringing of patriotism begins with the family, and the New Year is the most beloved family holiday. During the war years, despite the bombing, hunger and cold, people met the New Year with hope, believed that victory would be ours. And I am sure that participation in the competition will be interesting for both children and adults – together we will remember one of the most important dates – the meeting of the victorious 1945! ” – says the president of the fund “Hurry to do good!” Oksana Fedorova.
