The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation has approved the indictment in the criminal case against Sergei Ilyukhin. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 303 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (falsification of evidence in a civil case).

The investigation found that in March 2008 Ilyukhin sold two land plots in the Krasnogorsk District of the Moscow Region for 1.9 million rubles.

Later, together with the former head of the Serpukhov district, Alexander Shestun, he was a co-defendant in the civil case of the Odintsovo City Court on the statement of claim by the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation on the transfer of property received in violation of anti-corruption legislation to the state.

During the check carried out by the prosecutor’s office, 48 real estate objects worth 29 million rubles were registered in the name of Ilyukhin.

To create the appearance that he had the necessary funds and sufficient sources of income for the acquisition of the specified property, the defendant made fake contracts for the sale of land plots, increasing the amount of funds received by him from 1.9 to 29 million rubles.

Ilyukhin, through his representative, presented the forged materials to the court as evidence in a civil case.

The criminal case was sent to the Odintsovo City Court of the Moscow Region for consideration on the merits.
