The head of the methodological department, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Khrobostov and the Deputy Head of the Methodological Department Elena Guryanova, who acted as the leading ones, solemnly announced that 127 cultural institutions took part in the competition, which presented 177 creative works in five nominations. The competition was attended by authors from all four military districts, three fleets and the Caspian flotilla, branches and arms of the Armed Forces, the main departments of the Russian Ministry of Defense, other power structures, as well as civilian cultural institutions.
The submitted works reflected important events of 2020: the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Year of Memory and Glory in Russia, the 160th anniversary of the birth of Anton Chekhov, the 150th anniversary of the birth of Ivan Bunin, the revitalization of the All-Russian Children’s and Youth Military -patriotic social movement “Yunarmiya”. And, of course, in the field of view of the authors was the multifaceted life of military teams.
By the decision of the jury of the competition, the 75th House of Officers (Mozhaisk Garrison) was named the winner in the category “Best Methodological Development” for the methodical work “One Victory for All”. The theme of the Great Victory was also revealed in their works by the House of Officers of the Central Military District, which took third place in the same nomination, and the winner in the nomination “Best scenario of a cultural and leisure event”, the House of Officers of the Yurginsky Garrison (Kemerovo Region).
And even in such a nomination as “The best analytical review of the organization of work of cultural institutions”, the contestants showed a creative approach in reflecting the project “The Road of Memory”, the actions “Immortal Regiment”, “Candle of Memory”, “Wings of Victory”. And the best work here was recognized as the work “Activities of a military cultural institution during a pandemic” of the 60th House of Officers (Rostov Region).
The victory in the nomination “The best video on the activities of a cultural institution” was celebrated by the Officers’ House of the Eastern Military District, which presented the video “Development of ballroom traditions in the officer and cadet environment in the Far East.”
Traditionally, on the eve of summing up the results of the competition, the methodological department held an Internet voting in the nomination “Best video for the audience award”. The largest number of votes was given to the work of the House of Officers of the G.K. Zhukov (Kursk region).
Finally, in the nomination “The best work on the organization of patronage over servicemen and members of their families” the first place was awarded to the Department of Culture of the Administration of the Syzran urban district (Samara region).
