The amount is provided in the draft city budget for the next year.

39 billion rubles will be spent next year to upgrade and modernize equipment in hospitals and clinics. This is provided for in the draft budget of Moscow for 2021, which was presented at a meeting of the Moscow City Duma.

The new equipment procurement program for life cycle contracts began this year and will continue next. Such contracts allow forecasting budget expenditures, since the supplier is obliged to maintain and repair the equipment throughout its life.

The new equipment will replace the equipment that was purchased seven to 10 years ago. This will make it possible to equip medical institutions, including those undergoing major repairs. Thanks to the equipment procurement program, the clinics will meet modern standards.

The new equipment is digital, it will be integrated into a single digital space of the capital, which will increase the quality of diagnostics.

In addition to diagnostic equipment, it is planned to purchase equipment for surgery, obstetrics, neonatology and neonatal resuscitation, hemodialysis, as well as sterilization, disinfection, ophthalmology and ENT equipment.
