WASHINGTON –Today, Rep. Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) was appointed by Speaker Nancy Pelosi to serve as a House Conferee to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) Conference Committee. Rep. Fudge will represent the Committee on House Administration with Committee Chairwoman Zoe Lofgren (CA-19).
“I thank Speaker Pelosi for appointing me to the FY 2021 NDAA Conference Committee,” said Rep. Fudge. “I look forward to working with my House and Senate colleagues to produce a bill that supports all those from Ohio’s 11th Congressional District and across the country who serve and defend our country. As a conferee, I will fight to ensure the 2021 NDAA maintains key priorities, including promoting diversity and inclusion in our military, requiring the Pentagon to remove Confederate names from military bases and providing a pay raise for our brave service men and women.”
The NDAA authorizes funding for Department of Defense programs and activities.
