A PCR laboratory based on a KamAZ vehicle has been delivered to a mobile hospital with 100 beds, deployed by servicemen from the Central Military District (CVO) in the city of Chernogorsk (Khakassia).

The mobile laboratory was delivered to the capital of the republic, the city of Abakan, by military transport aircraft on an Il-76 aircraft, together with medical specialists. The servicemen have begun to deploy the laboratory near the mobile hospital; it will soon be commissioned. The laboratory equipment will allow military doctors to carry out PCR diagnostics of coronavirus infection and other necessary studies in a shorter time frame. The waiting time for the result will not exceed 8 hours.

At the moment, more than 50 residents of the region are being treated in the hospital.

As previously reported, a convoy of 27 vehicles with the property of a field medical hospital made a two-day march with a total length of 780 km to the Republic of Khakassia to assist the local population and doctors in the fight against COVID-19.

The mobile laboratory is designed for sample preparation, preliminary express analysis of biological samples and samples from environmental objects, analysis of BPA of I, II pathogenicity groups by PCR in accordance with the requirements of sanitary rules. It is mounted in a KK6.2 container body on a KamAZ-6350 chassis.
