During a regular meeting on November 18, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine amended the Procedure and Conditions for Submitting a Subvention from the State Budget to Local Budgets for the Implementation of Projects under the Emergency Credit Program for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.

According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, the decision will allow redistributing the subvention to local budgets in order to fully implement the joint project with European partners.

The emergency loan program to rebuild Ukraine envisages the restoration of a significant number of infrastructure facilities to improve the accessibility of services for internally displaced persons in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Odesa, Kyiv, Poltava and Kherson regions.

“It’s not just the rehabilitation of schools, kindergartens, hospitals and administrative service centers – it’s a long-term investment in human capital and the well-being of the people of these regions. Redistribution of the subvention from the state budget to local budgets will allow to restore 243 objects of social infrastructure across the country”, Denys Shmyhal noted.
