AT&T and Dallas Cowboys Upgrade the Experiences for Fans at AT&T Stadium and at Home
AT&T, the Official 5G Innovation and Fiber Partner of the Dallas Cowboys, brings new interactivity for fans
What’s the news? AT&T* and the Dallas Cowboys are updating the network systems at iconic AT&T Stadium, and bringing new fan experiences to Cowboys Nation – both at AT&T Stadium and at home.
What are the experiences?
Pose with the Pros: AT&T and the Dallas Cowboys have added 4 more double-sided, eight foot interactive immersive columns to the AT&T West Platform at AT&T Stadium, allowing more fans than ever before to experience Pose with the Pros. Fans can take their picture or GIF with virtual versions of their favorite Dallas Cowboys players, and share socially. For those fans catching the game at AT&T Stadium, the Pose with the Pros interactive displays are now completely controlled from the fans’ smartphone, creating a touchless and safer experience for all.
For those fans who choose to cheer on their Cowboys from home , AT&T is bringing the stadium experience to the palm of your hand via Pose with the Pros On The Go. By way of the Dallas Cowboys app, now you too can pose with your favorite Cowboys players.
StARview: Also enhanced for this year in AT&T Stadium, fans can use their smartphone to view live gameday stats by using the StARview feature located in the Dallas Cowboys app. By accessing the fan’s camera on their smartphone, fans can see real-time, live player stats via augmented reality projected over the field. And now, fans at home can see the same stats using the app too.
AT&T Fan Zone: Together, AT&T and the Cowboys are also giving fans at home a chance to cheer on their team in a whole new way. Fans can film their cheers and reactions and submit through the AT&T Fan Zone in the Dallas Cowboys app for a chance to be shown on the AT&T LiveFX board during home games. Whether they’re reenacting their favorite players celebratory move or cheering for a Cowboys touchdown, we’re bridging the gap between the play on the field and Cowboys fans across the nation.
How are we powering the Stadium experiences?
Last year, we made AT&T Stadium the first 5G-enabled stadium. This year, we’ve worked with CommScope and ExteNet to update the antenna system in the stadium, meaning enhanced connectivity for fans, and better capacity to power these 5G and LTE experiences. Deployed over just 16 weeks, these updates to one of the world’s largest indoor distributed antenna systems will increase network reliability, while lowering power consumption and saving on physical space.
