Staff Sgt. Carl Clegg, a Newberry, South Carolina native, adds a little challenging fun into his training plan this week with a #TrickShotTuesday. This U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Service Pistol Team Soldier regularly competes in bullseye competitions that require shooting with one hand. The ability to consistently and accurately hit the target in this shooting sports discipline is no easy task.

So, USAMU Soldiers typically train at tasks that have added challenges, which has proven to increase their success rates in competition. In this shot, Clegg trains by attempting to shoot a playing card in half. That’s down the thin side of the card, not the face. Check out how well he does.
