Coventry Libraries are encouraging residents to make the most of their custom click and collect service to access book bundles.
Libraries across the city are offering appointments for people to get hold of books that are tailored to what they like to read, or to discover new genres, in line with COVID safety guidance.
Cllr Kevin Maton, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, said:
“The click and collect service from our libraries is a fantastic way to access the wide range of resources on offer, to keep us safely entertained and informed whilst we’re in lockdown.
“The bundles are customised, with our teams working hard to curate a collection for you that you’ll really enjoy– and it’s free! I’d encourage anyone who is interested to take up the opportunity and get hold of some great books.”
Books can be collected from the following libraries:
- Allesley Park
- Bell Green
- Jubilee Crescent
- Tile Hill
Those collecting books need to wear a face covering and apply hand sanitiser.
The service is available online, or by phone on 024 7683 2314. Library team members will prepare book bundles ready for collection.
The reservation service is also open again, so requests can be made for specific titles. Take a look at the online catalogue to see what’s available.
