In order to ensure adequate nutrition for the accused, suspected and convicted by the rear service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the purchase of fresh vegetables has been organized through the conclusion of state contracts with various suppliers.

More than 200 tons of potatoes, 50 tons of cabbage, 25 tons of beets, 31 tons of onions and 25 tons of carrots were delivered to the correctional institutions of the region for a total amount of over 15 million rubles.

This volume of fresh vegetables is enough until the next procurement company. All of them are stored in specially equipped warehouses in compliance with the commodity neighborhood, temperature regime and relative humidity. Also, the warehouses have the necessary stock of other products.

It should be noted that natural products are used in the diet of the accused, suspects and convicts. The varied menu includes dishes such as soups and borscht, meat and fish, salads, potatoes, pasta, cereals and others.
