The prosecutor of the Khabarovsk Territory approved the indictment in the criminal case against the former technical director of the limited liability company DalRybProm. He is accused of committing crimes under Part 3 of Art. 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (giving a bribe in a significant amount), part 3 of Art. 256 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal extraction of aquatic biological resources, carried out with the use of self-propelled floating vehicles, on migration routes to spawning grounds, causing especially large damage).

According to the investigation, the employee of the society, using his official position, during the spawning period of the autumn chum salmon in September 2019, at the fishing site of the Amur River in the Ulchi region, carried out illegal fishing over 22 kilograms of fish in excess of the quota provided to the enterprise. Thus, he illegally caught more than 7.4 thousand specimens of fish, from which he produced finished fish products.

By these actions, the fish industry of the Russian Federation suffered about 80 million rubles of damage.

In addition, the accused on September 21, 2019, while on the banks of the Amur River in the village. Bulava of Ulchsky district, gave a bribe in the form of salmon caviar weighing 26.5 kg to a police officer for committing illegal inaction, namely for failing to take measures to identify and suppress the planned illegal catch of autumn chum salmon by fishing brigades of DalRybProm LLC.

After serving a copy of the indictment, the criminal case will be sent to the Ulchskiy District Court of the Khabarovsk Territory.
