The portal is designed for small volume purchases. All transactions are carried out in the format of an electronic store.

Year to date on the supplier portal40 thousand companies and entrepreneurs have registered. In total, 200 thousand suppliers use the Internet platform. This was stated by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

“We see that over the seven years of operation, the supplier portal has acquired the status of an all-Russian project. At the moment it unites suppliers from all over the country and customers from Moscow and 36 other regions. Since the beginning of 2020, nearly 40,000 suppliers have registered on the low-volume procurement platform. In total, more than 200 thousand suppliers now work on the portal, 40 percent of which are regional companies and entrepreneurs. At the same time, 90 percent of all suppliers are representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, the share of individual entrepreneurs is 14 percent, ”the deputy mayor said.

The Supplier Portal is designed for low volume purchases. All transactions are carried out in the format of an electronic store – quotation sessions last from three to 24 hours, contracts are concluded online using an electronic signature.

Over the past year, a number of changes have taken place on the portal, thanks to which it has become even more convenient for both business and customers to work in the market for small-volume purchases and operational transactions. The personal account of users has been updated, an electronic document flow has been launched in a pilot mode, organizations have the opportunity to accept orders from individuals. In addition, the self-employed are included in a separate category.

The number of user categories has increased on the supplier portal, because more and more people and organizations are working with the Internet platform – customers, suppliers, legal entities and individuals, individual entrepreneurs and self-employed, noted the Minister of the Moscow Government, head Information Technology Department Eduard Lysenko. The developers are constantly improving the site interface, making it more convenient.

“The platform home page now changes depending on the type of user. A chatbot has appeared for quick feedback. A separate promo page has been developed for regional partners, a service has been created for joining new regions and functionality has been added for registering contracts concluded on paper. Complex and systematic work attracts more and more new users and allows the resource to be one of the most important components of the capital’s digital ecosystem for business, ”added Eduard Lysenko.

Most of all, organizations and entrepreneurs from Moscow and the Moscow region are registered on the supplier portal – 119.1 thousand and 20.6 thousand, respectively. The Perm Territory is in third place – 7.4 thousand suppliers. Next comes St. Petersburg (5.9 thousand) and the Krasnodar Territory (3.4 thousand).

Since the beginning of the year, 59.4 thousand contracts have been concluded between regional suppliers and Moscow customers on the portal for a total of 8.5 billion rubles. This is about 30 percent of the total volume of purchases of Moscow customers on the portal.

“Most often, Moscow customers buy medical, construction and household goods from regional suppliers. This circumstance testifies not only to the openness of the capital’s procurement system, but also to the existence of a real opportunity for regional suppliers to enter the Moscow market with their offer. And Moscow suppliers get a unique opportunity to expand sales markets without additional costs “, – said the head Moscow City Department for Competition PolicyIvan Shcherbakov.

The number of purchases on the supplier portal increased by almost 1.5 times

The Supplier Portal was created in 2013 to automate low volume procurement. More than a thousand contracts are concluded on the portal every day, and the average price reduction during quotation sessions is 13 percent. The catalog of unique goods, works and services today contains more than 845 thousand items.

The top purchases on the supplier portal are medical goods, maintenance, maintenance and repairs, construction and household goods, as well as sanitary maintenance and cleaning services. In addition, government customers purchase medical equipment and antiseptics. This is important in the fight against coronavirus.

For its contribution to increasing procurement transparency and improving the business climate, the supplier portal won first place in the Business Support and Export Development nomination at the All-Russian competition of best practices and initiatives for socio-economic development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
