The Petitions Committee has scheduled a debate in Westminster Hall on the motion “That this House has considered e-petitions 300528, 302855, 306494 and 324762, relating to university tuition fees”.

Chris Evans MP, a member of the Petitions Committee, will be opening the debate. The Department for Education will be sending a Minister to respond.

What are petitions debates?
Petitions debates are ‘general’ debates which allow MPs from all parties to discuss the important issues raised by one or more petitions, and put their concerns to Government Ministers.
