Headline: Reach the first global agreement to end cervical cancer
The UN agency that watches over health around the world has launched a strategy to eliminate cervical cancer based on three fundamental steps: vaccination, screening and treatment. If successful application of the triple action is achieved, more than 40% of new cases of the disease could be reduced and 5 million deaths avoided in the next 30 years.
