200 million rubles will be allocated to ensure the work of mobile teams for the treatment of patients with coronavirus infection. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

This practice is used in a number of territories. Specialists from federal medical institutions and specialized universities travel to regions with the most difficult epidemiological situation. On the spot, they advise colleagues and assist patients. The teams include doctors of various profiles: anesthesiologists-resuscitators, infectious disease specialists, pulmonologists, cardiologists, therapists.

This work involves 32 medical institutions subordinate to the Ministry of Health. Among them is the National Medical and Surgical Center named after V.I. Pirogov, Medical Research Center for Cardiovascular Surgery named. Bakuleva, National Medical Research Center for Cardiology, Medical Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology named after V.I. Kulakova, Bashkir State Medical University.

Federal funding will go towards wages for specialists and travel expenses.

The decision to allocate funds for these purposes was announced by Mikhail Mishustin on November 16 at a meeting of the Presidium of the Coordination Council under the Government to combat the spread of the new coronavirus infection… “We hope that thanks to these measures, medical assistance will be provided more promptly to everyone who needs it,” Mikhail Mishustin said.
