Over 100 applications have been received by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for the TAK£500 Participatory Budget Fund!
Communities from right across every corner of the borough have put forward ideas they think will have a positive impact on their area – and are now in the running to receive up to £500!
So what is happening now? Each group that submitted an application and have made it through to stage two are currently making a video to explain why they feel their idea should be funded and brought to life in their area!
Once these videos are complete, they will be uploaded to the council website for you to view – and most importantly, to cast your vote on which projects you would like to see happening in your communities!
“We are absolutely delighted to have received 107 applications and so many different ideas that will bring a lot of positivity and benefits to communities across our borough,” commented the Lord Mayor of Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon Councillor Kevin Savage.
“The beauty of TAK£500 is that this project is all led by you, the local residents! It is your ideas that have been put forward and it will be your decision which projects go ahead! So watch this space to see when voting opens and make sure you watch the videos and choose which ones you think will be the most worthwhile!”
Voting will open on Monday 23rd November, so watch this space!
