Despite the epidemic situation, the final exams of the two largest training centers for junior specialists of the Central Military District (CVD) in the Urals and the Volga region were held on time in compliance with all requirements.

To counter the spread of coronavirus infection in the Central Military District, the training schedule for cadets of training centers has been revised. The study of theory in the classroom and practice on simulators were organized in small groups with respect to social distance.

In total, in the summer period of training, the inter-service training center of the signal troops in the Ulyanovsk and the district training center in the Sverdlovsk regions trained more than 2 thousand junior specialists for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in more than 20 military registration specialties.

During the final exams, the cadets performed control firing exercises with small arms and standard weapons of combat vehicles, driving wheeled and tracked vehicles, as well as standards for working on unified command and staff vehicles R-149, digital communication systems “Resettlement” and other modern equipment. In total, more than 2 thousand servicemen were admitted to the exams, who completed training in the specialties of operators of quantum-electronic and optoelectronic communications technology, radar detection and guidance stations, repairmen of weapons and military equipment, commanders of tanks, armored personnel carriers, and infantry fighting vehicles.
