The officers of the reconnaissance units of the Eastern Military District (VVO) in the Trans-Baikal Territory are improving their skills in army tactical shooting from the AK-74M submachine gun and the PM pistol.

For this discipline, one of the training grounds has a special area with shelter walls, manholes, suspended walkways and corridors for firing in a limited area. During the exercise, servicemen are required to hit targets at a distance of 25 to 50 meters, but at the same time remain as hidden as possible from a conventional enemy, taking into account the existing obstacles.

Practicing the exercises themselves involves firing from awkward positions with a constant change of firing position. This method of fire training is fundamentally different from previously performed exercises, since not only the accuracy of hitting the target is assessed, but also the time spent by the soldier on the performance of the combat training mission.

This shooting technique helps to train soldiers and officers to conduct combat operations in confined spaces: houses, city blocks and rugged forests. It allows you to develop the necessary skills, such as the speed and accuracy of hitting targets.
