HYDE PARK, NY – Today, U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) joined the Dutchess County Veterans Day convoy where law enforcement, first responders, and public servants drove through the county to celebrate veterans and greet members of the community.
“On Veterans Day we give thanks to the heroes who served our nation and defended our freedoms and American values. Today we recognize veterans’ service and commitment, as well as their families who make incredible sacrifices to support loved ones overseas and those who return home with visible and invisible scars,” said Rep. Antonio Delgado. “It was an honor to join my home county in paying tribute to the service of our veterans and thanking them for their selfless sacrifice for the greater good. I am inspired to see so many members of our community share in this tribute to our American heroes – may God bless our veterans and servicemembers stationed across the globe.”
Earlier today, Rep. Delgado delivered remarks at the Saugerties Lamouree-Hackett American Legion Post 72 annual Veterans Day ceremony.
