The qualification course in English and Spanish, which starts this Wednesday (11.11), was designed to meet the growing demand in the Brazilian market for foreign tourists. The training of professionals in the sector is one of the axes of action of the Resumption of Tourism, launched by the Ministry of Tourism last Tuesday (10.11). The courses, which were structured in the distance learning and distance learning format, are 200 hours and counted with the participation of the National Federation of Tourism Guides (FENAGTUR), in the survey of demands for the offer of vacancies. For the Minister of Tourism, Marcelo Álvaro Antônio, professional qualification has a fundamental role in the resumption of tourism and, also, in the increase of productivity and competitiveness of the economy in the destinations. “The courses offered by MTur prepare professionals in the sector to serve international tourists and contribute to improving the services provided,” he said. “It is an important achievement to move forward with public policies for professional qualification for actors who work on the tourism front line,” he concluded. RESUMO – In addition to this training, the Ministry of Tourism is offering the courses: Open Arms – BBA ”; “Tourism Manager”; “Languages ​​English and Spanish for Drivers” and, very soon, will offer courses “Specialization in Natural and Cultural Attractions for Regional Tourism Guides” in the five macro regions of the country and, also, offering free courses through the “Call Notice” Education to Public, Private and Educational Institutions / Entities of the S System.
