Kayak RETURNS also point out travelers’ preference for domestic and proximity tourism

A recent survey conducted by the Kayak travel search platform shows that 55% of respondents intend to travel in the next six months. The number is more than double recorded in May by the same survey. The study carried out by Kayak also confirms the trend of increasing demand for national attractions and closest to the traveler: 49% of respondents stated that they intend to travel around the country and 27% by the state itself. The destinations of beach and nature are at the top of the wish list and family trips are the main motivation of 63% of the Brazilians interviewed. According to the data, hotels continue to be the preference of travelers, but there is an increase in vacation rentals. and alternative accommodation, such as huts, cottages and country houses.
