Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District Sergey Menyailo held a seminar-meeting with the chief federal inspectors for the constituent entities of the Federal District.

It was attended by Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters Pavel Baryshev, Head of the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in the Novosibirsk Region Viktor Orlov, Acting Head of the GUFSIN of Russia in the Novosibirsk Region Yuri Yemets.

The main topic of discussion is the activities of state authorities of the regions of the Siberian Federal District and territorial bodies of federal executive bodies in the event of natural disasters, epidemics and other emergencies.

Within the framework of the seminar-meeting, Yuri Evgenievich made a presentation on mobile medical centers of the region’s penal system.

Currently, there are two mobile medical centers of the regional GUFSIN in the Novosibirsk region: a medical complex for the profile of “Ultrasound diagnostics”, “Therapeutic surgical dentistry” and a mobile PCR laboratory for research and detection of infectious diseases. Both complexes are built on the basis of a KAMAZ vehicle and reequipped in a medical correctional institution No. 10.

The leadership of the GUFSIN and the Ministry of Health of the region decided to cooperate. During the work, the mobile complexes have visited all the districts of the Novosibirsk region, in which the subordinate institutions are deployed. The use of mobile complexes has proven to be effective for the prompt research of residents in remote areas. Citizens living in remote areas can receive medical care and advice without having to visit a medical facility that may be located far from their place of residence.

“Mobile complexes are currently the only ones in the region, the leadership of the GUFSIN is ready to continue to interact with the Ministry of Health of the region in the diagnosis and treatment of residents of our region,” Yuri Yemets noted in his report.
