Today, in the area of ​​the Nikolaevka naval aviation airfield (Primorsky Territory), specialists of the Pacific Fleet rescue parachute group have worked out a training landing from a Mi-8 helicopter.

The rescuers performed jumps with special equipment from high, low and extremely low heights using wing-type parachutes. In total, about 20 jumps were made.

Also, rescuers have additionally worked out the skills of landing on an unprepared site.

Similar exercises for parachutists-rescuers at the Pacific Fleet are held year-round at a frequency of at least twice a month. Landing operations are practiced not only in the area of ​​airfields, but also in mountainous and wooded areas, as well as on the water surface.
