For the first time in the history of the award, the laureates received awards online.

The 26th Golden Mask Awards ceremony took place. The laureate in three nominations at once was the opera “The Devil in Love” by the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after K.S. Stanislavsky and V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko.

In the nomination “Best Actress” the award went to Daria Terekhova for the role of Biondetta, the prize for the Best Actor went to Anton Rositsky for the role of Don Alvar. Alexander Vustin received the prize for the best composer’s work in The Devil in Love.

41 laureates were announced from the stage of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Theater, for the first time in the history of the award they received awards online. The Golden Mask awards ceremony began at noon Moscow time to be seen in all time zones of the country.

“Golden Mask” – Russian prize, which is awarded for outstanding creative achievements in the field of theatrical art. It is awarded for performances of all genres: drama, opera, ballet and contemporary dance, operetta and musical, puppet theater and experimental.
