Previously, doctors had to consult a cardiologist by phone, wasting precious time. Today, thanks to digitalization, this process is taking place in a completely different way.
“In a fraction of a second, the electrocardiogram is sent to the server of the cardiological console via a wireless communication channel. It is promptly received by a cardiologist, transcribed and sent to the team. This helps to save time and get started with treatment as soon as possible. Digital technologies have allowed us to improve the quality of emergency medical care. In just two years, more than 1.5 million ECGs have been performed, ”she added.
Today, all teams of the capital’s ambulance are equipped with new cardiographs. They allow you to quickly get the results of the cardiogram, not only in an ambulance, but also anywhere when necessary.
“With complex cardiac arrhythmias, the diagnosis can be challenging. Often in such situations, minutes are counted. Technologies come to the aid of ambulance medical workers, thanks to which, for example, ECG transmission occurs in seconds. Thus, the ambulance team has more time to assess the patient’s condition, carry out diagnostics, and deliver to the desired hospital, depending on the profile of the disease, ”said the head physician
