Source: DOSB The third Federal Network Conference of Queer Sports Clubs (BuNT) will take place from November 22nd to 28th, 2020 in digital form.

Organized by a supraregional, cross-institutional organizational team from Berlin, Frankfurt, Halle / Saale, Hamburg, Duisburg and Düsseldorf, the event offers a diverse program around queer issues in sport. All interested parties from organized sport, politics, administration, science and society are invited to get information, to network and to exchange ideas! The aim of the BuNT week is to raise awareness of queer issues and to create a non-discriminatory sports landscape. The focus is on the joint promotion of acceptance of gendered and sexual diversity, the reduction of discrimination and a necessary structural change in organized sport. On Sunday, November 22nd, 2020, the BuNT week starts at 3:15 p.m. with a brief welcome the organization team and a subsequent lecture by the Institute for Sociology and Gender Research at the German Sport University Cologne on the results of the OUTSPORT study with a focus on sexual and gender identity in sport and limits in which the equal participation of all people in sport and a “guarantee of equal opportunities” or a “fair competition” face each other.
