The radio technical regiment of the Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Central Military District (CVO), stationed in the Novosibirsk Region, has received a new low-altitude radar detection complex “Podlet”.

The complex is capable of detecting and tracking targets, including subtle ones, at low and extremely low altitudes in conditions of natural and delivered interference.

Earlier it was reported that the mobile radio altimeter PRV-13P entered service with the Novosibirsk radio technical regiment.

The Podlet complex is designed to track the air situation and detect targets at low and extremely low altitudes. At the same time, the complex is capable of finding targets over a wooded medium-rugged terrain, as well as in conditions of the use of passive, active or combined interference by the enemy. The station is also capable of continuing to work when attempting to suppress fire.
