About 200 first-year cadets of the Far Eastern Higher Combined Arms Command School (DVOKU) performed the first planned firing as part of the field exit. Shooting was carried out from a Kalashnikov machine gun and machine gun, as well as a Makarov pistol.

Before being admitted to the weapon, each student underwent the necessary training in the rules of weapon handling and safety requirements. The prospective officers performed the initial shooting exercises, prescribing shooting from the spot. Despite the first fire training in their military career, the trainees showed good results. Each cadet will improve the skills acquired during shooting and will bring them to perfection in several years.

Increased attention is paid to training in small arms shooting at the school. In DVOKU, championships in shooting from standard weapons are regularly held, the educational and material base is being improved. Under the guidance of experienced gunsmiths, a unique shooting complex has been created, which allows cadets to shoot on a parachute suspension system, a swinging deck of a ship, in motion from an ATV and on a suspension in the mountains. The direction of army tactical shooting is actively developing.
