The Hospital Authority said it has increased the number of specimen collection packs to be distributed in general outpatient clinics (GOPCs) in Tai Po District for three consecutive days from today.

The move ties in with the Government’s enhanced community testing service in the district.

The clinics involved are the Tai Po Jockey Club GOPC and Wong Siu Ching Family Medicine Centre.

The authority noted that clinic staff will closely monitor the situation to co-ordinate the distribution of the packs and the collection of specimens.

It also reminded healthcare workers of the GOPCs and the accident and emergency department in the district to stay vigilant and arrange viral tests for patients where necessary.

Those with symptoms are advised to seek consultation at the accident and emergency department or GOPCs for test arrangements.
