The Yunarmeys held and recorded on video 47 mini-parades in the squares of the Samara region for personal congratulations to the participants of the Great Patriotic War on November 7 – the day of memory of the legendary military parade in 1941 in the city of Kuibyshev (now Samara).

Starting from October 9, Yunarmeysky detachments of municipal and inner-city districts recorded a video with congratulations and a solemn march. All the videos were given to the heads of these districts to show them to the veterans today during the congratulations. No uniform standards have been set for video preparation. In this regard, each mini-parade turned out to be interesting in its own way. On some videos, the Yunarmeys additionally read poetry, on others they sing songs, play drums, and emotionally congratulate. To comply with the requirements of the epidemiological situation, no more than 25 boys and girls took part in each event.

The Memory Parade dedicated to the military parade on November 7, 1941 in Kuibyshev has been held in Samara annually since 2011. This year, in connection with the coronavirus, the passage of the ceremonial boxes with a solemn march across Kuibyshev Square was canceled. Most of the events to celebrate the memorable date have been moved to the online format.

For the first time, mini-parades near the houses of the participants in the war were held on May 7, 2019 in Samara by servicemen of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army. After the dress rehearsal of the parade by May 9, the parade crews went to different districts of the city and organized personal congratulations with songs and a solemn march right in the courtyards of the veterans, who for health reasons could not come to the square.
