Pupils sponsored by the Western Military District by the Yunarmiya detachment recorded on video a solemn march on the city squares to congratulate the veterans of the Great Patriotic War on November 7, the day of the memory of the military parade that took place in 1941 in Kuibyshev (now Samara).

Beginning in October, the Yunarmeysky detachments recorded a video with congratulations and a solemn march. During mini-parades, the youth recited poems, sang songs, played musical instruments. Each event was attended by no more than 25 boys and girls in connection with the observance of anti-epidemiological requirements. All videos were sent to veterans or shown to them by their next of kin.

The Memory Parade dedicated to the military parade on November 7, 1941 in Kuibyshev has been held in Samara annually since 2011. This year from St. Petersburg, the parade crew of the Yunarmiya was supposed to take part in it, but most of the events dedicated to the anniversary of the parade have been moved to the online format.

Earlier, the St. Petersburg youth soldiers actively participated in the actions of the servicemen of the Western Military District to congratulate the front-line soldiers living in the city with mini-parades at their homes.
