CLAY COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes as part of sign work in Clay County. All work is weather dependent.

Crews will close the shoulder of I-35 northbound, just north of 69 Highway and Liberty Pkwy, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, for sign work

Crews will close the shoulder of I-35 northbound, just south of Route 210/Armour Rd., from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, for sign work

Crews will close the shoulder of I-435 southbound, just north of Route 78/23rd St. from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, for sign work

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
