Despite attempts to eliminate the ACA and strip away protections for people with pre-existing conditions, it remains the law of the land—and so the health care marketplace is still available for those seeking insurance coverage for 2021. Open Enrollment lasts through December 15. To get the word out—in both English and Spanish—about how people can get covered right now, Congressman Doggett will hold a virtual press conference this Monday, November 9 at 11:30 AM CST with Foundation Communities, Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM), Austin Mayor Steve Adler, and Councilmember Greg Casar.
