Since the end of September, hotline operators have issued more than 65 thousand applications for almost 70 thousand services. Of these, 85 percent have already been completed.

The hotline employees of the social development complex continue to help Muscovites who observe the home regime. Since September 26, social assistants have covered more than 170 thousand kilometers, delivering food, medicine and essential goods to the townspeople, she said Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

“The main task of our social workers is to create all the necessary conditions so that Muscovites from the risk group can observe the home regime as comfortably as possible. The call center resumed its work a little more than a month ago, but even in this short period of time it became clear how smoothly and efficiently the whole team works. So, since September 26, our social assistants have covered more than 170 thousand kilometers, delivering essential goods to residents of the capital. During this time, call center operators have issued more than 65 thousand applications for almost 70 thousand services, more than 85 percent of which have already been completed, ”she said.

Social assistants travel thousands of kilometers every day to deliver essential food and goods to older Muscovites and those suffering from chronic diseases. Social workers from the Southern Administrative District, North-Eastern Administrative District and ZAO traveled the longest distance – 27, 23 and 22 thousand kilometers, respectively.

Some social workers have even managed to set personal records. For example, Yekaterina Fetisova from the Chertanovo Yuzhnoye branch of the Chertanovo territorial social service center has already covered 150 kilometers by fulfilling requests.

Many social workers use bicycles to help speed up. So, Ekaterina Boyko, an employee of the Shcherbinsky social service center, uses a two-wheeled vehicle to bring her wards everything they need. For Ekaterina, a bicycle is not only a means of transportation, but also an opportunity to keep fit and well-being.

Today Muscovites are assisted by a large team of seven thousand social assistants. Applications are accepted daily from 08:00 to 21:00 by the hotline number: +7 (495) 870-45-09.
