In the combined-arms formation stationed on the territory of the Republic of Buryatia, training and methodological training sessions with intelligence specialists have ended. The completion of these gatherings coincided with the celebration of the Day of the Military Intelligence.

In the plan of the training sessions with the leaders of the training groups, such activities were included as overcoming the “Scout’s Trail” obstacle course, destroying a sabotage group of a simulated enemy, and capturing a prisoner.

The “scout’s trail” is a kilometer-long strip. It was developed by military professionals and includes more than 30 elements that must teach scouts to perform combat missions in the most difficult conditions: stone walls, underground passages, suspension bridges, barbed wire fences, a railway line and fragments of city structures.

Also, during the training camp, methodological exercises were conducted on hand-to-hand combat, military topography, mine explosives, tactical training and camouflage techniques. During the preparation of these lessons, the experience of modern armed conflicts in the use of mine-explosive obstacles, reconnaissance of objects using unmanned aerial vehicles and the use of standard means of camouflage and imitation was taken into account.

The training session ended with the celebration of the Day of the Military Intelligence Officer. The command of the combined-arms formation congratulated intelligence specialists on the 102nd anniversary of the holiday, and the servicemen who distinguished themselves during the international army games, field trips and exercises were awarded with valuable gifts and certificates.
